Strategic Plan for Sidewalks and Bikeways

Metro Public Works and the Metro Planning Department recently held public meetings
county-wide to garner input for sidewalks and bikeways planning in Metro Nashville.
By using the public input from the five public meetings as well as numerous e-mails and mail correspondence, a draft document was drafted to
summarize the proposed updates the the March 2003 Sidewalks and Bikeways Strategic Plan.

NOTICE: The public comment period for the Proposed Updates to the Strategic Plan has been extended to JUNE 30, 2008 . All interested parties are encouraged to submit their comments by e-mail or postal mail by this date.
Candidate/potential sidewalk projects depicted within this website reflect those developed from the original Strategic Plan and do not reflect project and/or prioritization changes that would come about when the 2008 updates have been revised based on public comment and formally adopted.
