Bikeways Program

If you want to know
more about bicycling in Nashville and Davidson County, you've come
to the right place. This web site provides you with information
about Metro's existing and proposed bike routes in addition to
general information regarding bicycling in the Metro area.
The Metro Strategic Plan for Sidewalk and Bikeways
provides for the design, construction, and maintenance of a citywide network
of bicycle routes integrated into an overall transportation network
for the Metro Nashville area.
To date, this program has
completed 94 miles of Metro's bikeway network, with another
11.6 miles planned. The bikeway network consists of off-road hike and bike
trails (greenways), on-street bike lanes and on-street bike routes.
